Semanggi Overpass Constructed Without City Budget

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, said that the construction of Semanggi Overpass will be started in April 2016.

He added that the construction is a form of Jakarta Provincial Government to escalate Building Floor Quotient (KLB) of Japanese company, Mori Building Company. He ensured that the construction will not use the city budget.

MRT Construction Reaches 38 PercentHe predicted that the overpass construction will cost Rp 500 billion. In order to escalate the KLB, the company must pay Rp 700 or Rp 800 billion.
“Don’t pay us with money, but please you construct us the overpass as worth as Rp 500 billion,” he added.
It is predicted that the construction will finish in 2017 and will not disturb MRT project. Later on, access from MT Haryono to Bundaran HI can be passed directly as well as from Grogol to Kebayoran Baru.
